Public reception on Wed. Oct. 16 at 5:30 pm. RSVPs are appreciated.

Sara Nordling’s works explore the intricate art of double weave, a technique that creates two layers of cloth simultaneously on a loom. Through a mix of loom-controlled and hand-manipulated methods, Sara creates textiles that invite viewers to appreciate their vibrant colors, textures, and patterns on one level, while revealing deeper meanings on another. Her pieces range from playful to contemplative, celebrating life’s joys and challenges. With over 30 years of weaving experience and an MFA in studio art, Sara is passionate about sharing her craft through teaching and exhibitions.
