Piano Lessons

Individual lessons

Oct. 1 - Dec. 31

Our faculty will work with each student to develop a personalized learning plan that teaches technique, music theory, and musicianship skills while having a blast playing fun songs right from the beginning. Lessons will be offered in a supportive, relaxed environment and will encourage a lifelong love of music.

  • Beginner through intermediate – 1st grade and up

  • Weekdays after 4 pm – Wabash or North Manchester

  • Fall 2021 session – $140 for 8 weeks – 30 minute lessons

Alexis Crawford

 

Alexis is currently a junior at Manchester University studying Piano Performance with Pamela Haynes. Originally from Angola, IN, Alexis has been playing piano for over 17 years and has received multiple awards for her performances. Alexis teaches lessons in her hometown and has experience teaching online lessons as well. As a teacher, Alexis is excited to be a part of your young one’s music journey!

Gretchen Gray

 

Gretchen Gray is currently a senior at Indiana Wesleyan University and is studying with Phoenix Park-Kim. She is earning her bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and has played for 17 years. Gretchen hopes to go on to receive her master’s and doctorate in piano. Gretchen hopes to make your young musician’s early experiences with private lessons a time of personal development and discovery!

 

Registration information

Registration

Registration requires the creation of a parent/guardian account through our website. You will be taken through the steps to set up an account when registering. Registration can be completed online, by calling 260.563.1102, or in person at the Honeywell Box Office Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Please note that cash and check payments can only be accepted on registrations done in person.

Tuition

Please see lesson detail pages for piano and ukulele tuition fees. Fall 2021 will be an 8-week session. Community Drum Circle is free of charge.

Music books are not included in the tuition cost and will cost $5-15. Information regarding class materials will be sent prior to class start so that supplies can be purchased in advance.

Most classes will require that the student have their own instrument. Please contact Carolyn Stoner, Director of Arts, at cstoner@honeywellarts.org or 260.274.1412 with any instrument questions.

Payment Policy

For classes and lessons under $100 per session, full payment for the session is due at registration.

For classes and lessons over $100 per session, payment can be made either in full at registration or by a monthly payment plan as outlined in the registration process. Account on file will be debited automatically per the schedule.

All tuition is paid through the registration process. Tuition payments cannot be accepted by instructors at classes and lessons.

Refund Policy

Before a session starts, the parent/guardian should contact the Honeywell Center Box Office at 260.563.1102 or in person Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm to withdraw their student. Tuition will be refunded less an administrative fee of 15%.
