Katy Gray
Katy Gray has been creating in the medium of stained glass for over 25 years. A Wabash native, she attended Indiana Wesleyan University where she studied studio art and art education. It was there that she was first introduced to the art and craft of stained glass and discovered a skill and passion for designing and creating with the medium. In 2012 Katy was awarded the Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity Fellowship for her project entitled “Unearthing my Creative Identity: Preserving Indiana’s Natural Splendor in Stained Glass,” and through this project was able to study stained glass design and construction in Columbus, OH, and Fort Wayne, IN. Over the years Mrs. Gray’s artistic endeavors have evolved to include the art of glass mosaic, pique assiette mosaic, and a dabbling in fused glass.
Currently, Mrs. Gray is an elementary art teacher at Metro North and Sharp Creek Elementaries in Wabash County, where she has taught for the last 10 of her 25 years as an art educator. When not in the classroom with children, she can be found in her garage studio creating stained glass artwork for private commissions or planning her next stained glass workshop for adult learners. She is happily married to her husband of 24 years, Sherman, and they have 2 children, Evelynn (21) and Hank (16).

Danielle Winger
Danielle Winger was born in Reno, NV and spent her early life moving throughout the United States. She received her Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Merchandising and Apparel Design from Middle Tennessee State University and an MFA in Painting from East Tennessee State University. Danielle spent her childhood summers visiting the same national park in Northern California and her love of mountains grew deeper during her years spent living in the Smoky Mountains. She is an avid hiker and backpacker, finding respite in her close proximity to nature.

Danielle lives with her husband and three young children in a log cabin on 11 acres, surrounded by woods, water and wildlife. Her home provides endless inspiration, as do her children who are a constant source of exploration and investigation. Danielle has taught in many higher education institutions including Indiana Wesleyan University and currently teaches at Community School of the Arts in Marion, and Honeywell Arts & Entertainment.
Julia Touloukian has a BA in Art Education from Purdue University and has spent nine years as an art teacher at Rossville Elementary School in Rossville, IN.  Julia also has a background as an ABA therapist, working with children with autism.  She currently stays home with her three younger children in rural Peru.  Julia is passionate about helping all students develop as artists by finding inspiration through their creativity, advancing their artmaking skills, and gathering knowledge through art history.  She is looking forward to working with your students!

Jake Bunnell
Jake, a Wabash native, recently returned to his hometown after spending over a decade in Nashville, TN. Growing up, he was deeply immersed in the local music scene, performing throughout Wabash and neighboring communities. Jake pursued his passion for music at Belmont University in Nashville, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar.

Following his studies, he built a successful career as a professional guitarist, performing and recording with national touring artists. His performances have graced iconic venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, among many others across the country.

Now back in Wabash, Jake serves as the Music Program Manager at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment. He also shares his expertise by teaching guitar, piano, and ukulele lessons in Wabash and North Manchester.
Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, Rebecca studied voice at Interlochen Arts Academy and trained with mezzo-soprano Jayne Sleder. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music therapy and vocal performance, a master’s degree in music therapy, and a doctorate in educational psychology.
An experienced performer, she has appeared as a soloist and ensemble member in operas, musical theatre, and sacred music settings - and continues to perform regularly. She currently serves as the Director of Music Therapy at Indiana Wesleyan University. She lives in Wabash with her husband and daughter and enjoys crafting and spending time by the water. Rebecca offers lessons in both voice and guitar.
Rebecca Barnard
Sara Harner is from Swayzee, Indiana. From an early age, she learned how to play multiple instruments including the piano, guitar, and flute. Sara was involved in band class and played the flute in junior high school and later joined the high school jazz band on bass guitar.

In 2016, she joined her church worship team playing the bass guitar. While attending Purdue University, she joined the Concert Jazz Band as the bass guitarist. After graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in art, Sara started careers in photography and teaching guitar lessons. Sara is available to teach beginning piano, guitar and bass guitar lessons.
Sara Harner
Chris Hickman
Originally from Philadelphia, Chris studied with professional trumpet player Jerry Franks at Grace College and then Marion College (Indiana Wesleyan University). Graduating with a BS Degree in Instrumental Music (1984), he began his teaching career as assistant band director at Wabash City Schools. In 1991 he became the director of bands at Southwood High School and taught there until his retirement in 2021.

In addition to teaching, Chris continues playing and has performed with The Heartland Big Band, Tuxedo Junction, Fascinating Rhythm, The Gospel Big Band, Richard Quigley Big Band, Peru Circus Band, Community Theater Pit Orchestra, First United Methodist Church Christmas Cantata Orchestra, Wabash Community Band (co-founded), Wabash Community Dance Band (co-founded) and church praise bands as well as subbing into groups when the opportunity arises.

Chris and his wife Tami are the proud parents of 6 kids (plus 4 spouses) and 8 awesome grandkids who mean the world to them. Chris is excited to be a part of the Honeywell Arts & Entertainment music program and offers lessons in woodwind and brass instruments, percussion, and beginning piano .
