About The Honeywell Foundation

The Honeywell Foundation, DBA Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, is dedicated to the enhancement of artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all. We are a nonprofit arts organization located in Wabash, Indiana. Founded in 1941 by industrialist Mark C. Honeywell, the Foundation reaches hundreds of thousands of guests each year through a variety of arts offerings including live concerts, visual art programs, family festivals, and recreational events. Offerings take place online and at six venues: the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Eagles Theatre, Charley Creek Gardens, Dr. James Ford Historic Home, and the 13-24 Drive In.

Core Competencies

The General Manager of Food & Beverage at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment combines visionary leadership with operational expertise to elevate food, beverage, catering, event services, and guest experience across all venues. This role ensures exceptional service, financial sustainability, and seamless integration as Honeywell grows into new properties.


Key competencies include:


  • Strategic & Financial Acumen - Leads multi-venue food and beverage strategy, oversees complex budgets, analyzes performance, and drives sustainable growth.

  • Leadership & Talent Development - Builds high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, accountability, and a people-first culture.

  • Operational Excellence - Expert in food and beverage operations, catering, event services, vendor management, safety, and service standards.

  • Guest Experience Leadership - Creates memorable, mission-aligned guest experiences through personal engagement and a consistent culture of hospitality.

  • Integration & Change Leadership - Guides expansion efforts, including new venue onboarding and major projects such as the Charley Creek Inn merger and Honeywell House renovation.

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement - Identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability through new products, technology, and best practices.

  • Brand & Community Stewardship - Serves as an authentic ambassador for Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, strengthening relationships with guests, partners, and the community.


The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in comparable food and beverage or hospitality operations.
