About The Honeywell Foundation

The Honeywell Foundation, DBA Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, is dedicated to the enhancement of artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all. We are a nonprofit arts organization located in Wabash, Indiana. Founded in 1941 by industrialist Mark C. Honeywell, the Foundation reaches hundreds of thousands of guests each year through a variety of arts offerings including live concerts, visual art programs, family festivals, and recreational events. Offerings take place online and at six venues: the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Eagles Theatre, Charley Creek Gardens, Dr. James Ford Historic Home, and the 13-24 Drive In.

Core Competencies

Honeywell Arts & Entertainment is excited to welcome college interns for various departments including Marketing, Hospitality, and Development!


These summer internships will receive valuable hands-on experience in each respective field, gain professional growth and skill development, and contribute to Honeywell’s goals and initiatives.  We’re looking for innovative and fresh perspectives while providing a structured program where participants will go through onboarding, project assignment and execution, mid-internship review, and conclude with a project presentation.


Marketing Intern:

  • Develops a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote upcoming events and increase audience engagement.

  • Utilizes social media, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels to reach target demographics.

  • Measures the effectiveness of marketing efforts through analytics and KPIs.


Hospitality Intern:

  • Areas of exposure include: restaurant, catered events, Hospitality sales.

  • Analyzes guest experience survey data to identify areas for improvement in guest experience.

  • Develops recommendations for enhancing hospitality services and amenities.


Development Intern:

  • Focuses on donor  communications/stewardship.

  • Provides project management related to establishing donor newsletter/articles that could be sent both hard copy and electronically – collecting articles that could be used throughout the year.

  • Collaborates with the development team to cultivate and steward donor relationships through these communication channels.
